My rescuers
I look around the room
So very long I look
The ones I wait for
Never seem to come
I stand alone in this cold room
Waiting for them to come,
To come and take me away,
Away from this horrible place
I dream of them coming someday
Coming and crashing through the door
I’ll wait for you, the ones who care
I’ll wait for you, my rescuers
There are people out there, who know,
Know what it’s like to feel alone
Where no one cares,
No one cares, even in a school this size
People say make friends but truly who does?
For all those who need their rescuers
