why is it so hard,

to say that which is true?

to say "I love you"?

I a teen in the middle
Dad old but still full of fun
Grandpa ancient who could help with life's riddle

The Fire

I look around the room,
I can not see through the flames.
It burns my eyes,
I can not see.

I wish I could,
I wish it would work,
I wish it stopped,
I wish they would come back.

There is no happiness,
There is only sorrow.
Will they stay split?

To come back may not be able.
To come back all she has it will take.
The fire is here, will it stay?
It may go, only time will know.
